Installation
- Install the drive unit end of the link rod on its mounting sphere by gently pushing straight on.
- Push the plastic retainer down to lock the mechanism in position.
- Install the D-pillar trim on the vehicle. Refer to INTERIOR/EXTERIOR for the procedure.
- Install the liftgate end of the link rod on its mounting sphere by gently pushing straight on.
- Push the plastic retainer down to lock the mechanism in position.
- Close the liftgate and check for proper power liftgate operation.
