Stator Coil Grounded Testing

  1. Adjust ohmmeter to x1000 scale. Place ohmmeter probes on one of stator leads and stator laminated core. Ohmmeter should show no reading.
  2. Stator winding is shorted if reading is obtained. Replace stator coil if shorted. Repeat test procedure for each stator lead.
