EGR Temperature Sensor
- If a fault is present in EGR temperature sensor or circuit, a Code 35 may be set in ECM memory. See TESTS W/CODES article. Place EGR temperature sensor in container of water.
- Heat water to boiling temperature of 212°F (100°C). Measure resistance across sensor terminals. Resistance should be 76,770-93,830 ohms. Sensor resistance should decrease as temperature increases.
