Ignition System - MITSUBISHI Electronic: Overhaul: Disassembly: GLC
- Remove distributor cap and rotor. Remove reluctor and retaining pin. Remove pick-up coil. Remove vacuum control unit mounting screw and disconnect lever from breaker plate pin.
- Remove breaker plate assembly. Remove governor cam, springs and weights. Remove clip from bottom of distributor shaft. Remove distributor shaft from housing. Keep washers in order for reassembly reference.
NOTE:
DO NOT clean grease off back of IC ignitor. It is necessary for heat transfer.
