Dashboard Disassembly/Assembly (Us): Notes

WARNING:
  • Handling the air bag module improperly can accidentally operate (deploy) the air bag module, which may seriously injure you. Read the air bag system service warnings and cautions before handling the driver-side air bag module.
  1. Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.

  2. Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
    NOTE:
    • When replacing the dashboard, remove the following parts and install them to the new dashboard.
    1. Passenger-side air bag module
    2. Front center speaker (with Bose®) (See FRONT CENTER SPEAKER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    3. Global positioning system (GPS) antenna (with global positioning system (GPS)) (See GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) ANTENNA REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
    4. Ambient temperature sensor (See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [FULL-AUTO AIR CONDITIONER] .) (See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [MANUAL AIR CONDITIONER] .)
    5. Active driving display (with active driving display) (See ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
    6. Driver monitoring camera unit (with driver monitoring system) (See DRIVER MONITORING CAMERA UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (US) .)
