Installation Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  1. Install the battery positive cable to the generator and secure the positive cable with the nut (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  2. Install the generator and secure the generator with 3 bolts and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the engine lift hook and secure the lift hook with 2 bolts and tighten to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the A/C line bracket to the lift hook and secure the bracket with the bolt and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  5. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  6. Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
