Set/Resume/Cancel Switch Test: Legend

1. Remove dashboard lower panel. Remove steering wheel maintenance lid. Disconnect cable reel harness and air bag assembly 2-pin connector. Connect short Red connector to air bag connector. Remove steering column lower cover.
2. Disconnect 5-pin connector from cable reel and connect SRS Test Harness (07HAZ-SG00300). See Fig 1 . Check continuity between 8-pin test connector terminals No. 2 and No. 3 with SET switch on, terminals No. 1 and No. 3 with RESUME switch on, and terminals No. 1, 2 and 3 with CANCEL switch on. If continuity is not present in one or more switch position(s), go to next step.
3. Remove cover from SET/RESUME/CANCEL switch. Remove 2 mounting screws and pull out switch from steering wheel. Check continuity between switch terminals "A" or "A'" and "B" with SET switch on, terminals "A" or "A'" and "C" with RESUME switch on, and terminals "A" or "A'", "B" and "C" with CANCEL switch on. See Fig 2 .
4. If continuity is not present in one or more switch position(s), replace switch assembly. If continuity is present at all switch positions, replace cable reel.
