Rear Solenoid

  1. Unplug rear solenoid connector. Using a DVOM, measure resistance between Red and Black wires and Yellow and Black wires of rear solenoid. If resistance is not 1-3 ohms, replace faulty solenoid.
  2. If resistance is okay, disconnect 21-pin connector from control unit. Check for continuity between Red/White and Yellow/White wires to ground. If continuity exists, repair shorted circuit. If no continuity exists, replace faulty control unit.
