Defogger Function Test
- Check for voltage between Black/Yellow terminal of 2-P connector and ground with ignition switch on. There should be battery voltage. If there is no voltage, check for open in Black/Yellow wire between dash fuse box and defogger switch. If there is no battery voltage, go to step 2. See Figure .
- Connect Black/Yellow terminal of 2-P connector to Orange terminal with jumper wire. See Figure . Both right and left mirrors should gradually warm up when ignition switch is turned on. If neither warm up, repair Orange wire. If only one fails to warm up, check its mirror defogger element. If both warm up, check switch.
