Fuel Pressure Regulator Cut-Off Solenoid Valve Test II
- Start engine. Check vacuum signal to fuel pressure regulator. If okay, go to step 2). If vacuum is NOT present, check vacuum port, vacuum hose and connections.
- Disconnect 6-wire harness connector to fuel pressure regulator cut-off solenoid valve. Connect voltmeter leads to Black/Yellow (positive) wire and Light Green (negative) wire terminals. If voltage is present, go to step 3). If voltage is NOT present, replace fuel pressure cut-off solenoid valve and retest.
- Check for short in Light Green wire between cut-off solenoid valve and ECU. If wire is okay, substitute a known good ECU and retest. If problem goes away, replace original ECU.
