Engine Identification

Engine identification code is located on left front side of engine block, below cylinder head mating surface. First five numbers of code indicate engine type. California models have number ten for sixth and seventh numbers. Federal models have number thirteen for sixth and seventh numbers. Last five numbers of engine code indicate engine serial number.
