Electric Cooling Fans: Operation: Legend

Operation of cooling fans on Legend is controlled by a Fan Control Unit (FCU). The FCU is located underneath PGM-FI electronic control unit cover at passenger's front floor area. The FCU receives input from the coolant temperature sensor, engine oil temperature and A/C pressure switches. A cooling fan timer allows condenser fan to continue operating for up to 15 minutes after engine is shut off. Cooling fan timer is located below dash, behind right side kick panel.
