Test F: Rear Up-Down Motor Does Not Work

  1. Perform input test No. 26. See TEST 26  in CONTROL UNIT INPUT TESTS (POWER SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS. If results are okay, go to next step. If results are not okay, check the possible cause(s) and make necessary repairs.
  2. Perform input test No. 14. See TEST 14  in CONTROL UNIT INPUT TESTS (POWER SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS. If results are okay, go to next step. If results are not okay, replace the power seat switch.
  3. Perform input test No. 15. See TEST 15  in CONTROL UNIT INPUT TESTS (POWER SEAT) under COMPONENT TESTS. If results are okay, substitute a known-good control unit and retest. If the symptom goes away, replace the original control unit. If results are not okay, replace the power seat switch.
