Neutral Safety Switch: Notes

A combination neutral safety and back-up light switch is screwed into side of transmission case. Switch is not adjustable. Switch may be tested for continuity using the following method.
NOTE:
Before replacing a switch that fails tests, ensure gearshift linkage is properly adjusted.
