Water Pump: Installation

Clean gasket surfaces. Install water pump. Install new "O" rings. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS TABLE at the end of this article.
Adjust timing belt tension. See TIMING BELT TENSION ADJUSTMENT under ADJUSTMENTS. Fill and bleed air from cooling system. See BLEEDING COOLING SYSTEM under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
