Control Unit Input

NOTE: Several different wires have the same color. They have been given a number suffix to distinguish them (for example YEL/GRN' and YEL/GRN2 are not the same).
  1. Remove the glove box to disconnect the 22-P connector and 16-P connector from the control unit.
  2. Inspect the connector terminals to ensure they are all making good contact.
  3. If terminals are bent, loose or corroded, repair them as necessary. Recheck the system.
  4. If the terminals look okay, make the following input tests at the connector. See Fig 1 -Fig 3 .
  5. If any test indicates a problem, find and correct the cause. Recheck the system.
  6. If all inputs tests are okay, the control unit is probably faulty. Replace the control unit.
