Shift Lock Solenoid
- Remove center console. Disconnect shift lock solenoid 2-pin electrical connector from main wiring harness. Note electrical connector terminal identification. See Fig 1
.CAUTION: Battery voltage must be applied to correct shift lock solenoid electrical connector terminals or diode inside shift lock solenoid will be damaged.
- Momentarily connect battery positive terminal to terminal "A" and battery negative terminal to terminal "B". See Fig 1 . Ensure shift lock solenoid operates with battery voltage applied. Replace shift lock solenoid if solenoid fails to operate.
