Removal & Installation: Notes

WARNING: All models are equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR). SIR wiring harness is routed close to instrument cluster, steering wheel, and related components. All SIR wiring harnesses are covered by Yellow outer insulation. DO NOT use electrical test equipment on these circuits. Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See the AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article. Air bag may deploy.

NOTE: When battery is disconnected, radio will go into anti-theft protection mode. Obtain radio anti-theft protection code from owner prior to servicing vehicle. Radio will be inoperative until proper code is entered.
