Washer Motor Test
- Remove front bumper. Disconnect 2-pin connector at motor. Connect battery voltage and ground to washer motor terminals. See Fig 1
.
- Washer pump should operate smoothly and fluid should spray from outlets. If pump does not operate as specified, replace washer motor. If washer pump operates as specified and little or no fluid is pumped, check for disconnected or blocked fluid lines. If fluid lines are okay, check for clogged washer pump outlet. If no faults are found, replace washer motor.
