DTC P1102: Mass Air Flow Lower Than Expected
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to transmission, do not depress accelerator pedal for more than 10 seconds at a time. Do not move transmission shift lever while increasing engine speed.
- Set parking brake and block front wheels. Start engine and run at 3000 RPM with no loads and transmission in Park or Neutral, until radiator fan comes on. Allow engine to idle. Fully depress brake pedal and move shift lever to "D4" position.
- Using scan tool, check mass air flow. Fully depress accelerator pedal for 5 seconds. If mass air flow is 16.5 g/sec or more, problem is intermittent, system is okay at this time. If mass air flow is not as specified, replace MAF sensor.
