Intake Air By-Pass Control System: Notes

Intake Air By-pass (IAB) control system uses a series of valves inside intake manifold to control length of intake air path. Intake air path has 3 lengths: short, medium, and long. Increased engine torque over a broad RPM range is achieved by using valves to switch between paths.
