Oil Pressure Indicator Flasher Test
- Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Locate integrated control unit in underdash fuse/relay box in left kick panel. See Fig 1
. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect integrated control unit Green 16-pin connector. Remove integrated control unit. Check for bent, loose or corroded terminals. Repair as necessary and recheck system. If terminals are okay, go to next step.
- Perform resistance and voltage tests as indicated in the graphic. See Fig 1
. If test results are as specified, system is functioning properly. If test results are not as specified, repair or replace components as necessary.
