Remote Transmitter Test

Ensure ignition key is not inserted in ignition switch. Close all doors. Press lock or unlock button on remote transmitter. If LED illuminates and doors do not lock or unlock, go to next step. If LED does not illuminate, replace battery. Press lock or unlock button on remote transmitter. If doors lock or unlock, remote transmitter is okay. If doors do not lock or unlock, use a known-good remote transmitter. If doors lock or unlock, replace original transmitter.
