BRAKELIGHT Switch
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect 4-pin brakelight switch harness connector. Switch is located on brake pedal support bracket.
- Check continuity between brakelight switch terminals No. 3 and No. 4 with brake pedal depressed. On models equipped with cruise control, check continuity between brakelight switch terminals No. 1 and No. 2 with brake pedal released. See Fig 1
. Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, go to next step.
- Ensure brakelight switch or pedal height is adjusted properly. If adjustments are okay, replace brakelight switch.
