Wiper Motor Relay Test

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect relay harness connector and remove relay from relay box. See COMPONENT LOCATIONS.
  2. Using an ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between relay terminals No. 1 and 3. See WIRING DIAGRAMS. Continuity should not exist between terminals No. 4 and 5.
  3. Using fused jumper wires, apply battery voltage and ground between relay coil terminals No. 1 and 3. Continuity should now exist between terminals No. 4 and 5. Replace relay if continuity is not as specified.
