Hood Switch Test

Open hood. Locate hood switch 2-pin connector behind center support and disconnect connector. See Figure . Using DVOM, check continuity between hood switch connector terminal No. 1 (Green/Orange wire) and terminal No. 2 (Black wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Continuity should exist when hood lever is released (hood open). Continuity should not exist when hood lever is depressed (hood closed). If continuity is not as specified, replace hood switch.
