Trunk Latch Switch Test
Open trunk lid and remove trunk lid inner trim. Disconnect trunk latch 6-pin connector. Using DVOM, check continuity between trunk switch connector terminal No. 2 (Blue/Green wire) and terminal No. 6 (Black wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist when trunk lid lever is released (trunk lid open). Continuity should not exist when trunk lid lever is depressed (trunk lid closed). If continuity is not as specified, replace trunk latch switch.
