A/T Gear Position Switch
Remove console. Disconnect gear position switch 14-pin connector. Check for continuity within range of free play as specified in each gear position while moving gear shift lever without touching push button. See A/T GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 . If continuity does not exist within range of free play as specified, adjust position switch. If continuity still does not exist as specified, replace gear position switch.
