Parking Brake Switch Test

Remove floor console and disconnect parking brake 2-pin connector. Use DVOM to measure continuity between terminals. With parking brake lever in up position, continuity should be indicated. With parking brake lever in down position, continuity should not be indicated. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch. See PARKING BRAKE SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
