DTC 81: VSA Control Unit

Check for other DTCs.
1. Are there any other DTCs indicated?
2. YES - Do the appropriate troubleshooting for the DTC.
3. NO - Go to step 2.
Clear the DTC.
Test-drive the vehicle.
1. Does the ABS indicator come on and is DTC 81 indicated?
2. YES - Replace the VSA control unit.
3. NO - Intermittent failure; the vehicle is OK at this time.
