Brake Fluid Level Switch

Remove brake fluid reservoir cap. Check to ensure that float moves up and down freely. If float sticks, replace brake fluid level switch. Using DVOM, check for continuity between brake fluid level switch connectors. When float is in DOWN position, continuity should be indicated. When float is in UP position, no continuity should be indicated. If continuity is not as specified, replace brake fluid level switch.
