DTC P1107 Or P1108: Problem In BARO Sensor Circuit
- Perform PCM reset procedure. See PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition on. If DTC P1107 or P1108 does not reset, problem is intermittent. System is okay at this time. If DTC P1108 resets, substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM. If vehicle is equipped with Traction Control System (TCS) and DTC P1107 resets, go to next step. If vehicle is not equipped with TCS and DTC P1107 resets, substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM.
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM 22-pin connector. See Figure. Disconnect TCS control unit 20-pin connector. Check for continuity between ground and PCM 22-pin connector terminal No. 3 (Green/Orange wire). If continuity does not exist, go to next step. If continuity exists, repair short in Green/Orange wire between PCM and TCS control unit 20-pin connector terminal No. 13.
- Substitute known good TCS control unit, then recheck. If DTC P1107 does not reset, replace original TCS control unit. If DTC P1107 resets, substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM.
