NOTE: Driveability problems appearing to be transaxle related may be caused by a faulty engine component. Engine-related fault codes MUST be repaired before diagnosing transaxle. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Failure to diagnose and repair engine fault codes prior to transaxle diagnosis may result in incorrect diagnosis or component repair.
