(1) Tighten connecting rod nuts in 2 stages. First tighten nuts to 15 ft. lbs. (20 N.m), then tighten to 24 ft. lbs. (32 N.m).
(2) Tighten cylinder head bolts in 2 stages. First tighten bolts to 22 ft. lbs. (30 N.m), and then to 63 ft. lbs. (85 N.m). See Figure.
(3) See Figure.
(4) Tighten in a crisscross pattern.
(5) Tighten main bearing bolts in 2 stages. First tighten bolts to 22 ft. lbs. (30 N.m), then tighten to 58 ft. lbs. (79 N.m).
(6) Tighten to 96 INCH lbs. (11 N.m).
