Hazard Warning Switch

Remove instrument cluster assembly. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Remove hazard warning switch. Check for continuity between specified switch terminals with switch in ON and OFF position. See HAZARD WARNING SWITCH CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace hazard warning switch. If continuity is as specified, check turn signal/hazard relay input. See TURN SIGNAL/HAZARD RELAY INPUT under SYSTEM TESTS.

⁽¹⁾ Check Continuity Between Terminals No.

Off

5 & 10; 6 & 7

1, 2 & 3; 5 & 9; 6 & 7

⁽¹⁾	Illumination bulb is positioned between terminals No. 6 and 7. Replace illumination bulb and retest before replacing switch.
