Door Key Cylinder Switch

Remove appropriate door panel. See DOOR PANEL  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect door key cylinder switch 3-pin harness connector. Using DVOM, check continuity between terminals No. 2 (Black wire) and No. 3 (Blue/White wire on driver's side; Black/Blue wire on passenger's side). Continuity should exist in lock position only. Check continuity between terminals No. 1 (Blue wire on driver's side; Orange wire on passenger's side) and No. 2 (Black wire). Continuity should exist in unlock position only. In off position, no continuity should exist between any terminals. If continuity is not as specified, replace door key cylinder switch.
