Trip Meter Select/Reset Switch

Remove instrument cluster assembly. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect trip meter select/reset switch 5-pin connector. Check for continuity between specified switch terminals with switch in each specified position. See TRIP METER SELECT/RESET SWITCH CONTINUITY table. If continuity is not as specified, replace trip meter select/reset switch.

⁽¹⁾ Check Continuity Between Terminals No.

Select (ON)

1 & 2; 4 & 5

Reset (ON)

2 & 3

⁽¹⁾	Illumination bulb is positioned between terminals No. 4 and 5. Replace illumination bulb and retest before replacing switch.
