Heater Control Panel Removal/Installation
Special Tools Required
KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014
NOTE:
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when prying components.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts.
- Gently pry up on the heater control panel (A) to detach the clips (B, C) and to release the hooks (D), then pull out the panel.
- Disconnect the climate control unit connector (E), then remove the panel.
- If necessary, remove the screws securing the driver's center vent (A), then separate it from the heater control panel (B).
- Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Make sure the climate control unit connector is plugged in properly.
- Replace any damaged or stress-whitened clips.
- Push the clips and hooks into place securely.
