Radio Remote Switch Test/Replacement

Remove the driver's airbag assembly (see DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the 7P connector (A) from the radio remote switch (B).

Remove the two mounting screws and the switch.
Measure resistance between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals in each switch position according to the table.

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the radio remote switch.
Check for continuity between the No. 3 and No. 4 terminals, and No. 5, No. 6^* and No. 7 terminals. There should be continuity.
*: With Hands Free Link system or navigation system
If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the switch.
