In-Car Temperature Sensor Test
- Remove the in-car temperature sensor (see IN-CAR TEMPERATURE SENSOR TEST
).
- Check for a change in resistance by heating the sensor with a hair drier or cooling the sensor in a cool cup of water.
- Compare the resistance reading between the No. 1 and No. 2 terminals of the in-car temperature sensor with the specifications shown in the graph; the resistance should be within the specifications.
