Audio Unit Removal/Installation

NOTE:
- Eject all the discs before removing the audio unit to prevent damaging the CD/DVD player's load mechanism.
- If you are replacing the audio unit, write down the audio presets (if possible), and enter them into the new audio unit.
- Make sure you have the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped).
- Remove the audio-HVAC display module assembly (see AUDIO-HVAC DISPLAY MODULE ASSEMBLY REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Remove the screws and bolts, then separate the audio unit (A) and display panel control unit (B).NOTE: To avoid damage, remove the screws (C) first, then remove the bolts (D).
- Install the audio unit to the display panel control unit in the reverse order of removal.
- Enter the anti-theft codes for the audio system and the navigation system (if equipped). Set the clock (on vehicles without navigation).
