Fuel Pulsation Damper Replacement

  1. Relieve the fuel pressure (see FUEL PRESSURE RELIEVING ).
  2. Remove the charge air cooler (see CHARGE AIR COOLER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the injector cover (see step  3 ).
  4. Disconnect the connectors from the injectors, then. Remove the harness holder (see step  4 ).
  5. Remove the fuel pulsation damper (A) from the fuel rail (B).

  6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal with a new sealing washer (C).
