Wheel Sensor Inspection
- Clean the magnetic encoder, and make sure no metal or other debris is stuck to the magnetic encoder surface.
- Check the magnetic encoder (A) for damage. If cracked or damaged, replace the encoder (wheel bearing).
- Front wheel bearing replacement (see HUB BEARING UNIT REPLACEMENT ).
- Rear wheel bearing replacement (see HUB BEARING UNIT REPLACEMENT ).

- Measure the air gap between the wheel sensor (B) and the magnetic encoder all the way around while rotating the encoder.
Standard:
Front: 1.0-1.7 mm (0.04-0.07 in.)
Rear: 0.9-1.8 mm (0.04-0.07 in.)
