Distance Switch Test
- Remove the driver's airbag (see
DRIVER'S AIRBAG REPLACEMENT
).
- Disconnect the 20P connector (A) from the cable reel.

- Check for continuity between 20P connector terminals No. 5 and No. 14.
- There should be continuity with the distance switch pressed.
- There should be no continuity with the distance switch released.
- If the continuity is not as specified, replace the cruise control combination switch assembly (see
CRUISE CONTROL COMBINATION SWITCH TEST ).
