Malfunction Threshold
- When both the negative pressure (no boost) area determination (P1233) and open throttle (boost) area determination (P1234) are NG, it is judged as a turbocharger boost sensor characteristic abnormality.
- When both the negative pressure (no boost) area determination (P1233) and open throttle (boost) area determination (P1234) are determined normal, and when the difference of negative pressure area determination and open throttle area determination (P1234) is a specified output or less. When the range of readings from the turbocharger boost sensor is measured under no boost and boost conditions and the difference is less than a specified valve a stuck failure is detected.
