HFL Switch Test

  1. Remove the audio remote, HFL-navigation voice control switch or the audio remote-HFL switch (see STEERING WHEEL DISASSEMBLY/REASSEMBLY )

  2. Measure the resistance between terminals No 9 and No 11 in each switch position according to the table

    HFL Switch (with navigation) 

    HFL SWITCH RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION (WITH NAVIGATION)

    Position Resistance
    No button pressed About 10 k Ω
    PICK-UP button pressed About 47 Ω
    HANG-up button pressed About 220 Ω

    HFL Switch (without navigation) 

    HFL SWITCH RESISTANCE SPECIFICATION (WITHOUT NAVIGATION)

    Position Resistance
    No button pressed About 1 k Ω
    HFL TALK button pressed About 46 Ω
    HFL BACK button pressed About 185 Ω
