CMBS OFF Switch Test/Removal/Installation

Remove the instrument fascia (see DRIVER'S INNER DASHBOARD TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Remove the screws and the CMBS OFF switch (A).

Check for continuity between the 6P connector terminals in each switch position according to the table.

If the continuity is not as specified, replace the CMBS OFF switch.
Use a diode tester between the 6P connector terminals in each switch position according to the table.
If the diode test is not as specified, install the CMBS OFF switch in the reverse order of removal.
