Switch Test/Replacement

Remove the center console panel (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Disconnect the 14P connector from the seat ventilation switch (A).

Remove the two screws and the switch.
Check for continuity between terminals No. 14 (+) and No. 10 (-).
- There should be continuity when the switch UP side is pushed.
- There should be no continuity when the switch is released.
Check for continuity between terminals No. 14 (+) and No. 11 (-).
- There should be continuity when the switch DOWN side is pushed.
- There should be no continuity when the switch is released.
If the continuity check is not as specified, replace the seat ventilation switch.
Indicator check
Swap the driver's and passenger's switch, and check the indicators.

If the indicators come on normally, replace the original switch.
If any of the indicators does not come on, check the wire harness between the switch and the seat ventilation control unit. If wire is OK, replace the seat ventilation control unit.
