Center Console Armrest Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required 

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857

NOTE:
  • Take care not to scratch the console.
  • Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
  1. Remove the center console (see CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  2. Detach the clips, then remove the console trim (A). Disconnect the LF antenna connector (B) and the rear seat heater switch connectors (C), if equipped.

  3. Remove the screws (A). Detach the clips (B), and release the hooks (C), then remove the left console side trim (D) and the right console side trim (E).

  4. Remove the screws, and release the tabs (A), then remove the console outlet trim (B).

  5. Remove the screws. Remove the hinge bushings (A) and the hinge stoppers (B) from both sides, then remove the console armrest (C).

  6. Remove the hinge springs (D) and the bushings (E) from both sides.
  7. Install the armrest in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
