Dashboard Center Trim Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014*

*Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program; 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
Take care not to scratch the trim or the panels.

Remove these items:
- Center console panel (see step 1 on CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Front console covers, both sides (see step 5 on CENTER CONSOLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Remove the bolts securing the front of the center console (A), then pull out both sides as needed.

Gently pull out along the bottom portion of the center trim (A) to detach the clips, and release the hooks (B), then remove the center trim.

Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Push the clips and the hooks into place securely.
